Some of the fun activities that we do

01

Nature Bingo

Nature bingo is a fun game that encourages players to explore the outdoors and find different natural items on a bingo card, such as a leaf, bird, or flower. The first player to find and mark off all the items in a row, column, or diagonal wins. It's a great way to connect with nature and learn about the environment.

02

Nature Hikes

Hikes are outdoor activities that involve walking or climbing on natural trails and paths in order to explore and appreciate nature. Hikes can vary in difficulty and distance, and can take place in a variety of environments such as forests, mountains, or along the coastline. Hiking is a great way to get exercise, connect with nature, and enjoy the great outdoors.

03

Nature Scavenger hunt

A nature scavenger hunt is a fun outdoor activity in which participants are given a list of natural items or features to find in a specific area, such as a park or forest. These items can include plants, animals, rocks, or other natural objects. The first person or team to find all the items on the list is the winner. It's a great way to explore nature, learn about different species, and have fun outdoors.

04

Nature Debate

The Nature Club host debates or discussions related to environmental issues or topics related to sustainability and conservation. These debates may be open to the public or may be organized as part of the Nature Club's educational initiatives. The debates may involve experts in the field, members of the organization, or other individuals with an interest in the topic. The purpose of the debates would likely be to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas on important environmental issues and to encourage individuals to become more engaged in efforts to protect the environment.

05

Nature Talks

Nature is the term used to describe the physical world around us, including all living organisms, the landscapes and environments they inhabit, and the natural processes that shape and sustain them

🌲

Where do we meet

The Nature Club's usally meets up every week in room 708 at Castro Valley High School ever Thursday at 12:54, but our meeting schedule can vary depending on the specific events and initiatives being organized by the organization. Our History

Started

2019

The Nature Club is a non-profit organization focused on promoting environmental education and conservation efforts. The organization was founded in 2019 by Zachary Schley, a high school student in California, USA. Zachary recognized the urgent need for action on environmental issues and wanted to create a community-focused organization that could inspire and empower people to take action.

Our first location

2020

Canyon Middle School has a popular school club that offers a variety of activities, ranging from community service to creative writing, music, and art. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the club to adapt to online learning, but with the help of technology, students were able to continue pursuing their interests. Despite the challenges, the club has remained active and thriving, thanks to the leadership of Ms. Dahms and the dedication of its members. The club at Canyon Middle School is an excellent example of how students can come together to pursue their passions, both online and in person.

Smith Park Botanical Gardens

In early 2022, we surpassed the 2 million member mark in our club. Additionally, we launched a fantastic new website. Furthermore, Zachary stepped down as President, assuming the role of CEO and founder. Calvin then assumed the role of President in his place.

Early 2022

A lot

A lot more part 2

Late 2022 & early 2023

In late 2022, Calvin hired Dilion as the Vice President, and we began operations at our new location, Castro Valley High School. Additionally, we were fortunate to welcome some exceptional new staff members, including Kaylee Swanberg and Harper Kiely. It is also worth mentioning that we launched a new website, which you are currently viewing.
